Chris Bostock leads a Storytelling Workshop as part of our project Tales of the Forgotten North.
A Bit Crack – Storytelling promote the art of oral storytelling and invite you to join Chris for a day of exploring our potential as storytellers.
Bring your love of language, delight in stories and a desire to share tales particularly with young listeners. We will work particularly with stories of our region.
We will look at techniques for remembering and enriching stories – examine the nature of presentation and performance skills as well as the use of gesture and voice – and help you discover the storyteller within.
No previous experience is required. The workshop day will be held in a supportive environment and aims to leave you with the gift of stories to tell and plans for your own development as a teller.
£90 / £55 concessions – Price includes a light lunch
